What DetSol is
DetSol is a software company in Lahore, Pakistan. We build and operate our own products — Stockroot, inventory and business management software built for Pakistan; Expenddy, an expense-splitting app; and SaveBox, an Android app for saving videos to your phone. We are building Aaghaz360, a project and operations platform for construction companies, and we also build SaaS products and new software for clients.
Our products
Products we build, and keep running.
Software with users, uptime, and a support inbox someone actually reads — and Aaghaz360, which we are building now.
Stockroot
Inventory, orders and receivables, built for Pakistan.
Stock held per godown and moved by transfers, orders received and delivered in parts, customer and supplier ledgers with aging, and staff attendance and payroll — in PKR, with Pakistani defaults already in place.
- Pakistan-first, not Pakistan-localised. PKR and Rs, Asia/Karachi, +92 numbers and NTN are the defaults everywhere. Invoices and orders carry your company NTN, logo and bank details, and print on A4, A5, Letter, Legal or 80 mm thermal paper.
- Stock is never typed over. Stock changes only through a recorded document — a goods receipt, a delivery, a return, a transfer or an approved adjustment — so every quantity can be traced back to what changed it.
- Reserve on confirmation, invoice on delivery. Confirming a sales order reserves the stock so two people cannot promise the same cartons. Deliveries and goods receipts can come in parts, and each one raises the invoice or supplier bill for what actually moved.

Expenddy
Shared expenses, settled without the spreadsheet.
Create a group, add what you paid, and Expenddy keeps track of who owes whom — across trips, flatmates and anything else people split. It also handles one-to-one IOUs and your own personal spending.
- Three ways to split, and it checks the maths. Equally, by exact amounts, or by percentage. Exact and percentage splits have to add up to the total before the expense is accepted, so a mistyped share can't quietly corrupt everyone's balances.
- English and Arabic, RTL included. The Android app mirrors its entire interface in Arabic rather than just swapping strings — laid out right to left, end to end. The web app is English only for now.
- More than groups. One-to-one friend ledgers track informal lending as 'you gave' and 'you got' with a running balance, and personal expense tracking keeps your own spending private to you.

SaveBox
Save a video from a link, straight to your gallery.
No account is needed to start: a fresh install works as a guest with its own download history, and creating an account later upgrades that guest in place without losing anything.
- See it before you save it. SaveBox shows the title, length and thumbnail first, then offers best available, 720p or 480p, so you choose the quality and the space it takes before anything downloads.
- Plays on any phone. Every download is converted to an H.264/AAC MP4 with fast start enabled, so it opens in the phone's own player rather than needing a particular app.
- No account required. A fresh install works immediately as a guest with its own history. Creating an account, with email and password or Google sign-in, is optional and keeps everything already saved.
Three steps
The last one happens on its own.

Aaghaz360
Projects, site work, materials and costs — in one connected system.
Office and site teams are meant to work from the same records: a project is broken into phases, activities and tasks, site engineers report the day's work from a phone, and material requests move to the store and to procurement — so owners can follow progress and spending without stitching spreadsheets and message threads together.
- One connected workflow. Projects, people, materials, procurement and financial records are designed to work together, so a figure on a project summary comes from the records behind it rather than from a separate spreadsheet.
- Practical for site teams. Routine field reporting is being designed for a phone: practical forms, readable tables, and photo and document attachments, so a site engineer does not need a desktop computer.
- Traceable materials. A material request, an approved purchase, a goods receipt, a store issue and actual site consumption are kept as distinct events, so what was requested, bought, received, issued and used can each be answered separately.
How a project is organised
Every record belongs to a project and a phase.

What we do
Design it, build it, then keep it alive.
The same three people do all of it. Nothing is handed to a team that wasn't in the room when it was decided.
Software a warehouse team can be trained on in an afternoon.
Stockroot ships its own guided tour, a permissions guide and per-company branding — because the hard part of business software isn't writing it, it's getting people to actually use it on a Monday morning.

Product design
We design the thing before we build it — flows, states and the empty screens most software forgets. Every product here was drawn before it was typed.
Web and mobile engineering
React and React Native on the front, Node and PostgreSQL behind. One API per product, shared by every client that talks to it.
Running it in production
We operate what we ship: deploys, migrations, backups, uptime and the support inbox. Building it is the short part.
See it before you save it
Stockroot renders a customer's own logo and brand colours into a live preview of the interface before they're saved — so nobody discovers what their palette does to the app after rolling it out to the warehouse.
Right-to-left, done properly
Expenddy mirrors its entire interface in Arabic rather than swapping strings into a left-to-right layout and hoping nobody notices.
We carry the pager
Migrations, backups, uptime and the support inbox are ours. It's the part that decides whether software is a product or a portfolio piece.
How we work
Small team, narrow slices, real users.
Three people can't out-staff anyone, so we don't try. We stay close to the problem and ship in pieces small enough to be wrong about cheaply.
Work the real problem
We start in the business, not the backlog — how stock actually moves, how a group actually splits a bill. Software that misses this is fast and useless.
Ship a narrow slice
One workflow, end to end, in production. A small thing people use beats a large thing they're waiting for.
Widen it with use
Real usage decides what gets built next. Stockroot grew from stock into ledger, payroll and reports because that is the order its users needed them.
Got something that needs building properly?
A question about Stockroot, an issue in Expenddy, or an idea you want a straight answer on — it reaches the three people who build these, and one of us replies.
