FAQ

Questions about DetSol.

Company-level answers. Each product's questions have their own page — they are linked at the bottom.

What is DetSol?

DetSol is a software company based in Lahore, Pakistan. It designs, builds and operates its own software products — Stockroot, Expenddy and SaveBox are live, and Aaghaz360 is in development — and it also builds SaaS products and new software for clients.

What products does DetSol build?

DetSol builds and runs its own products. Stockroot is inventory and business management software for trading and distribution businesses in Pakistan. Expenddy is an expense-splitting and expense-tracking app for Android and the web. SaveBox is an Android app that saves a video from a link to your phone's gallery. Aaghaz360, a project and operations platform for construction companies, is in development and not yet publicly available.

Does DetSol build software for other companies?

Yes. Alongside its own products, DetSol takes on SaaS products and new software projects for clients — multi-tenant web applications, React Native mobile apps, Node and PostgreSQL backends, and running the result in production after launch. The services page at detsol.com/services lists what DetSol builds and points at the shipped work that evidences each capability.

What is Stockroot?

Stockroot is a DetSol product. It is web-based inventory and business management software for trading and distribution businesses in Pakistan, covering stock across godowns, purchase and sales orders, deliveries, invoices, customer and supplier ledgers, payments, attendance and payroll. Each business gets its own private workspace at stockroot.pk.

What is Expenddy?

Expenddy is a DetSol product. It is an expense-splitting and expense-tracking app: you record a shared expense in a group, split it equally, by exact amount or by percentage, see who owes whom, and mark balances settled once someone pays. It is free, available on Google Play and in a browser at expenddy.com.

What is SaveBox?

SaveBox is a DetSol product. It is an Android app that saves a video from a link to your phone's gallery: you paste the link, choose a quality, and the video is saved as a standard MP4. It works without an account and is free on Google Play, with a limit of ten downloads a day.

What is Aaghaz360?

Aaghaz360 is a project and operations management platform that DetSol is building for construction companies and other project-based businesses. It is designed to connect project phases and tasks, daily site reports, labour, materials, stores, procurement and project costs. It is in development and not yet publicly available.

Are DetSol's products connected to each other?

No. Stockroot, Expenddy, SaveBox and Aaghaz360 are separate products built and operated by the same company, DetSol. They share no data and serve different users, and each has its own accounts.

What technologies does DetSol build with?

React and Next.js on the web, React Native on mobile, and Node with Express and PostgreSQL behind both. Stockroot is a React and Vite application with a Node and PostgreSQL backend; Expenddy and SaveBox are React Native apps with Node and PostgreSQL APIs. DetSol also runs what it builds, including deployments, database migrations, backups and support.

Where is DetSol based?

DetSol is based in Lahore, Pakistan, and works in the Asia/Karachi timezone. It is a team of three people covering design, engineering, operations and support.

How do I contact DetSol?

Email admin@detsol.com or use the contact form at detsol.com/contact. Messages go to the same three people who build and run the products, and DetSol aims to reply within two business days.
