About us

A small company that ships and stays.

DetSol is a software company based in Lahore, Pakistan. It designs, builds and operates its own products — Stockroot, inventory and business management software for trading and distribution businesses in Pakistan; Expenddy, an expense-splitting app for Android and the web; and SaveBox, an Android app for saving videos to your phone — and is building Aaghaz360, a project and operations platform for construction companies. It also builds SaaS products and new software for clients.

What we build

Our own products, and work for other people.

Our story

Why DetSol exists.

Three people, products of our own

DetSol is a software company. Stockroot, Expenddy and SaveBox are ours to design, ship, operate and answer for, and Aaghaz360 is the one we are building now. That keeps the surface small enough that three people can hold all of it — and means every claim on this site is one we can check against something we run.

We build what we had to use

Stockroot started because inventory software written for other markets treats PKR, NTN and Asia/Karachi as an afterthought — a settings page you fix rather than a default that fits. Expenddy started because splitting a trip's costs in a spreadsheet is a chore nobody volunteers for twice.

And we build for other people too

Alongside our own products, we take on SaaS products and new software projects for clients. Same team, same stack, same habit of shipping a narrow slice into production before widening it.

Shipping is the beginning

Our live products are in production with real users, which means migrations, backups, uptime and a support inbox that a person actually reads. We think the willingness to run software is what separates a product from a portfolio piece.

The team

Three people, no layers.

Everyone here designs, builds and answers support. It's the only way the surface stays small enough to hold.

We don't publish individual profiles — the people here would rather the work spoke for them than a headshot did. What we will point at instead: products of our own running in production, every capability on our services page tied to something we actually shipped, and a mailbox that one of the three of us answers.

Come talk to the people who build it.

There's no sales team to get past — you'll be talking to whoever wrote the thing you're asking about.
